🌠 The Spark

PodCosmos began as a passion project by Thenn Arasan, a builder on a mission to turn chaos into clarity. It wasn't born in a boardroom, but from deep curiosity, late-night coding, and a personal problem he couldn't ignore.

Thenn is a power user of podcasts, he listens during walks, on commutes, and sometimes even watches podcast episodes instead of movies (yes, he's that guy who picks Naval Ravikant over Netflix). But after hours of listening, he realized something frustrating: he remembered only 5–10% of what he heard.

So he started taking notes in Notion, creating a separate page for every podcast, every episode, every channel. But let's be honest: we're not always in peak productivity mode. It's hard to pause, note, and organize every single gem of insights while on the move. And when he tried to revisit a specific book, quote, or mental model mentioned in an episode, it felt like searching for a needle inside an asteroid belt, so much clutter, so hard to navigate, most people just give up.

But he didn't. Instead, he built a solution, first, just for himself. A tool to save podcast episodes, collect insights, and store them for easy recall and retention. That tool became PodCosmos.

What started as a personal project quickly revealed a universal need. Turns out, a lot of curious minds out there were struggling with the same thing, so Thenn decided to share his creation with the world.
